What a world; I happen to agree with The Obamessiah and Biden on this.

IF crimes were committed, I most certainly want the perps punished.

OTOH, if they are just going witch hunting, they had better be REAL careful. Precedent is a funny thing; they may find themselves being investigated at the end of their term.

Sounds like a waste of resources (not just cash but man-hours, etc).  Go for the source of corruption, not after-the-fact "justice".

Menh... much ado about nothing being done... or will be done. Watch Bidens careful choice of procedural terminology and circumstances. Sounds a whole lot different than the out of context article quotes in the trash rag UK Guardian.

This Congress has overstepped its bounds with the subpoenas many many times already. Power hungry politicians never get enough and should not be encouraged.

"When asked about his comments by Fox news today, Biden said he has no evidence that criminal charges would be warranted and no intention of pursuing action against the current president."

So what`s the problem?
Source. `Nuff said.

The only LEGITIMATE reason anyone would have for throwing Bush in prison is for his sellout of border guards Ramos and Compean along with his conspirator Johnny Sutton.  Why all of our borders were not SEALED Sept. 12, 2001 is beyond me.  There is a trail of corruption on this issue that does lead straight to the Whitehouse.

watched the vid, read the article - pretty representative i'd say. I only checked because the guardian is known to have pretty high standards of journalism. left leaning and (imo) eco-loonies but if they have an agenda, they wear it on their sleeve.

Quote
Democratic vice-presidential nominee Joe Biden said earlier this week that he and running mate Barack Obama could pursue criminal charges against the Bush administration if they are elected in November.

The way this sentance is structured, it seems that Obama/Biden will 'pursue criminal charges against the Bush administration if they (The Bush Administration) are elected in November.

The president is not above the constitution.

Notice that the oath of office is not to defend and protect the united states or its citizens, but the constitution itself.

You are forgeting that the constitution is irrelevant.

the democrats are in a panic, they might actually lose this election, so they have to throw up smokescreens.

congress approval rating is ? 9 %
this is why
if they want to have power, they need to find a good reason for the people to give it to them, not so they can destroy others with it! this is one of the reasons they have lost the white house, over and over.
according to the press ,Dem's should have a 20 point lead, yet its close to a dead heat, and this wont get those undecided to go with them, more likely this kind of stuff will turn them away
