Don't know who originally posted it but they brought up about Palin trying to get a trooper fired that was I think her brother-in-law. Turns out the guy tazered his step son. I read the article that was posted and that little tidbit happened to left out. Also the commissioner she was wanting fired made threats against her family. I think that was pretty much omitted too.
I really don't know how any one can be a democrat when you see out right misleading stories like this being printed.

I haven't heard anything about the commissioner making threats, just the trooper. Btw, the trooper did get suspended for 5 days for violating numerous laws and department policies over a period of several years.

5 days or 5 times ?

From the sound of things, threatening the family of a governor, and tazering your step-son (without provocation Im guessing) a suspension is WAY too mild.

Looks like this one won't go away too quickly. They had a recording of one of Palin's employee's (chief of staff?) calling police chief with some negative and not true info on trooper. Palin dismissed the employee. There are also some other recordings from some of her other employees calling police with untrue information. Was on CNN tonite.

I mentioned this little tidbit in another thread. This Troopergate is a non issue for me.
A whole 5 days?
He should have been fired and jailed.

pretty sure this all happened before she was gov. o and he threatened to shoot her father while he was on duty (not that i am sure what diff. that makes?)

That is correct, the threats on Governor Palin's fathers life were made while she was still a Mayor.

I agree, no LEO should be able to retain their job after threatening someones life.

For which he got a 5 day suspension. And Palin's gets 'investigated'. Remember, in the new media circus public eye, your innocent until investigated.

Palin volunteered the recordings to the investigators when she found out they existed. She did in fact suspend one individual for 2 months for making phone calls about her former brother in law w/o her consent or knowledge.
Based on what we do know, I think Troopergate will be a non issue.
There is always the chance though that information we don't know will surface and show Governor Palin in a bad light or exonerate her.

Retarded but a fact with our media these days. (And our resident Larry Flynt too I might add. :devil )

It's pretty much a non issue to me. However, what I read in another post didn't explain nothing. It just skirted the real issues. As usual it seems.

They are still trying to recover from the shock of someone telling them that Snopes is not an unbiased god that resides on top of a misty mountain.
