Well,
Monday I was looking for something to put on the grill and I found some Beef ribs the wife boss had purchased the week before. Not the small stuff, but big monster ribs like you would see flip over the old Flintstones car in the cartoons.
Well I pulled the grill out of the hanger, kicked the tires and lighted the fires, went to 100% mil power and started cooking them bad boys. I started to put them on when I noticed the grill was not big enough for all of them a once. Fortunately I had another small grill I used when we were camping, hooked it up a lit it off.
Soon the smoke could be seen like a silver swirling mist rising through the trees of the back yard. A beacon for all to see. It gave hope that things will get and are better than the were.
Then the feast. There is just no way to describe it.
I sometimes go out to the back yard during the week just to stand by the grill and smell the history of last weekend.
Grill. $125.00
Ribs. $ 20.00
Fixens $10.00
Beer. (This is not a scaleable expense, it is a right)
Family. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Eating to much, laughing and talking with your family for hours at the table, saving those last 3 ribs for lunch tomorrow, needing help to get out of you chair.

Only had ribs once. They tasted good. I can imagine what torture you went through! Thank you for sacrificing. :D
