It would be handy to have a view system that allowed me to increment and hold my view. This is simple but hard for me to explain, please bear with me.

Example: I press and release keypad 4, my view sticks on left front. I press it again, I go to left view. Again, left rear, again rear, again, it stays on rear. Kp 6 reverses the process. The same effect for kp2 only along my 12-6 axis, kp8 reverses the process.

This would make a joystick with a simple hat much more programmable.

A better description; functions like the pan system but with the discrete steps of the snap view.
