Title: Subs to combat carrier groups

yeah i know its far fetched, but it sure could be fun. a nice wolf pack could make things interesting. think about it  :)

Subs would be a nice supplement to Shore Batteries for base defense, to keep dolts from parking the TG off the end of the runway. Spawn a Sub and try to intercept the TG when it comes back into range.

The spawn points (boat?) would need to be added/built into the terrains.

As subs would be too slow to chase the TG, the counter is simply to move the TG out of the way, but a sub could be fun while the TG is in range.

Anyone else feel that subs would make dropping CV's unnecessarily easy?  It's not really all that hard to drop them as it is... :(

something some people don't understand is that a CV goes 20kts? subs go about 8kts? flat out under water (15kts? on surface) so how can a sub hunt down a CV?
subs have to be in waiting for a CV to appear. and if subs attack on the surface there easy meat.
