Wow am I sore. We played bowling and golf. I almost through my shoulder out in Golf and my butt hurts from bowling. Wow did I have a blast though. We should have Wii AH. Oh I lost every game to some punk and a 4'11 woman. :cry

I've heard about the boxing one. No thanks!! :rofl :rofl

there is a trick to the controller. Never have to really move and can just flick your wrist. After you figure that out it becomes a gamecube.

We've had the wii for a while not.
pretty cool gadget.
Im pretty good at the bowling.
But then again I dont hold the controller in my butt either LOL.
Played the boxing one a few time.
beat the crap out of my wife.
I enjoyed that. I enjoyed that alot. hehe all the fun. none of the jail time :rock
Now if I could onlyy get my class A1A witch of a sister in law to play it.
I'd be damn near orgasmic.
Havent gotten sore from playing though.
But Im sure not sitting behind a desk for a living helps ;)

Make sure you use the wrist strap. My roommate and I were playing a golf and he wasn't using the wrist strap and ended up tossing the Wii remote through our window. The Wii remote a suprisingly solid piece of equipment.
ack-ack

One of my friends came to school the day after buying one with a sling over his right shoulder. All he said when we asked for an explanation was that he pulled a muscle playing with his "wee".

I got a question for you, or anyone else who has it, can you play those games on Wii with only using one arm? Because I only have the use of my left arm and I haven't been able to play any video game system since N64 because the controller was workable with one arm.
Now I'm also in a wheelchair so I would have no problem using it sitting down too right?
-
The baseball game and tennis you should be able to do.

Wii is fun to play with other people. Dead boring by yourself.
As far as a console goes, the Wii is a cool gimmick but the Ps3 is much better.
Blu ray, HDMI/Optical output, more 'grown-up' games.... more fun if you're playing by yourself.

Yeah thats why I think when I get the money I'm gonna get a PS3, I've found a controller they have that you can operate all the controls with one hand, it's about $130 for it though, which sucks, but if I ever want to play PS3, or even X-Box, I'm gonna need to buy that controller.
Here's the link to the one handed controller

You're good on 90% of the games. You just have to look at the pack of the each game's DVD box, they normally show how the remote will be held for that game. Some send you back to old, old NES days, holding the Wiimote sideways, and using the 5 or so buttons on it a long with the direction pad. Many you just swing it around one handed.
Wii Fit is a whole different can of worms. That comes with a balance board and actually has some surprisingly tough workouts.

It's great for family entertainment. Like someone mentioned, if you are a young guy living alone, it's probably not for you. If you want something interactive that the whole family can play at the same time(and with a 'G' rating), then it's perfect.
The tennis and bowling are up to 4 players and alot of fun. The rule is no Wii til homework is done, including weekends, so they had their homework done before family bowling night(sat night)

It is great. Gets the kids (and Mom :D) up and moving as a family. Nice change from the rest of the video games they sit on their rear end and do....... Opps, that would be me. :aok

Yeah sounds good.
My grandmother lives in a retirement community and she told me that they have a Wii in their common area on the first floor, and that they even have bowling leagues for the bowling game.
