Title: me-163 skin request

i would do it myself but i cannot make skins.i am terrible. i don't know when or who used this 163 skin but it is official.that is all i know.here is a pic.

umm, does anyone want to do it?

it looks pretty neat to me but i do not know how to make a skin.

When I tried to skin a plane that was the choice that I made, it is not the default, that I am sure of.

I had a look the Me 163 skin template a while ago, it looked rubbish.

I wouldn't bother skinnning an aircraft that is unavailable 90% of the time (as cool as it is) when the template is awful and requires an upgrade (which will render any skins done now totally useless).

When it is remodelled I'll certainly put a skin in the queue, but until then....

The default skin is really terrible. Guess I'll do a skin, as I'm sure the 163 is pretty far down the line as far as updates go. Anyway.... that pictures really small, and I don't want to do something so similar to the default... how's this one?

Man, I just traced the panel lines to see what was mapped incorrectly against a flat RLM 76 background....

wow

I'm going to end up doing this basically from scratch :uhoh

You know the default is grey, not green, right?

I have posted this link before it is a excellent site about the 163. I like the Brandis captured planes with the possible? bullet holes in the nose art. http://www.xs4all.nl/~robdebie/me163.htm Also the Australian 163 has some original photos of the some of the stencil markings.

(I think those bullet holes look more like rivet holes though, maybe they sheared on crash?)
