In this second one, can any of you Germans identify the actual region of the speaker based on his accent? I have no trouble understanding him, but his accent is different than the places I've been.

I'm tempted to say southern Germany, but it's far less pronounced than some of the Bavarians I've worked with, and I can't recall them saying "oos" for "aus" and "leucht" for "leicht".
Pretty plane either way. is it back in the air after the landing crack-up?

He sounds like he is from Baden-Württemberg (thats south west, for those who are not from Germany) but only has a slight dialect.
Dialects change from village to village here sometimes, but it sounds like he is from BW.
