Title: Request memorised tracer settings
Post by: Hazard69 on September 10, 2008, 09:11:19 AM
This is an old wish of mine and I'm sure its been requested before......but here it goes again.. :)
{To all you "Search" fanatics: I would've but then I'd have to answer all those "don't dig up a year old thread" chaps  :P :lol }

#1. I wish the game would remember the tracer on/off option for individual planes as it does gunsights. Or at least add the Tracers ON/OFF option in the Hangar, rather than in the flight preferences.
{And yes I do know how to turn em on or off but sometimes, its a bummer when u roll out a Wirbel, hear that last VH go down, and then find that you forgot the tracers off} :mad:

It was partly realised when they changed it so that the 37mm and higher rounds on the Hurri2D, Osti and Yak9T are large enough to leave a visible signature (infact thats the reason I usually am more often in an Osti than a WW), but I still would like to see tracers on the 30mm and 20mm guns without having to manually change preferences each time.

#2. Also I wish it were possible to select tracers for individual guns.... for e.g. my 50cals have tracers off and the 20mm has tracers on. I dunno if they ever did that in RL (probably not) but I'd still like to wish for it.

So what say you, oh mighty HTC? Ye or Ney? :D :devil :D

 :salute

I'd like that to see that feature. Occasionally I grab a field gun if a airfield is being vulched. The gun survives a lot longer if tracers are off but I don't always have time to do that in the menus and I don't always remember to turn them back on afterwards.

Absolutely. Good idea. I would take tracers off in a P38 or field gun in a heartbeat, nice flexibility.

I like it too. :aok
There are rides I prefer them on and those I prefer them off in. Not that it really matters for me in the end. :rofl
