Title: A balanced feminist view of Palin

I’ve seldom agreed with this writer, and she certainly is no fan of McCain, but I have to admire the balanced view of Palin and why she should be celebrated and not villainized as a feminist.  There are some terrific lines in this article.

I've long admired Paglia. She is a feminist with left leaning ideals but by no means is she full of PC crap on the issues and has a disdain for her peers who are. I particularly enjoyed her critiques of Dowrkin and McKinnon.

Good read.

"A feminism that cannot admire the bravura under high pressure of the first woman governor of a frontier state isn't worth a warm bucket of spit."

Yeah, that was one of the lines I found quite entertaining.

That squeak can write :P  It's good to see at least a few in the media still have their heads on their shoulders.  Left leaning, no less.
