I know they're intresting, because the game has wind in it, but they don't actually do anything do they?
The only thing I see them doing is perhaps a bit off in long range flying at altitudes, but thats not much.
Could you disable the wind in the MA please? Or make it ground level so it affects landings and takeoffs?
Hans.

i dont like the wind layers

HT reduced the potency of the wind layers last night I believe. They were making the angle autoclimb turn you into a spinning wreck if you were heavy.
I like the wind layers, but I would love to see them a bit more real. Like, having them move around like the clouds... the winds move and they dont affect EVERYONE on the map at exactly the same alts. Another thing that'd be neat is if they were not constant... say you enter a wind layer and you get a little nudge for 2 seconds then nothing for a minute then a long push for 20 seconds, etc.
Would be cool to see the direction of the winds on the clipboard map too... talk about tailwind'ing your buff =)

Also if in clouds there were multiple wind currentsbecauseit isvery well known that by lookinginto clouds you can see what type of air current isinside oraround one it would be a nice addition and would makeflying into clouds risky hehehehe
