Title: problems with controlle selection

when i lodged in i couldn't change the area or base that i was at. so i went into the controlles and noticed my mouse wasn't set. I couldn't set the control type to mouse and there was no where i could change the roll and elevate. but for some reason i can still take off (just with no control). what should i do.

Try running DXDIAG and see what input devices it shows.
