Anyone remember the stink that Clinton raised over the film when ABC planned to air it? How about how much was edited out of it when it finally did air? Ever seen it aired again? Ever seen a DVD for sale, edited version or original?

I remember the stink Clinton raised. Iirc it was about him passing up as many as 4 opportunities to apprehend/kill bin Laden. I'm not sure why the producer would edit his film just to appease Clinton though.

He didn't. Disney did. ABC eventually caved and forced the issue. Funny how it has only been shown once. And no DVD has been offered. I'd like to see the whole thing again. I'd really like to see the unedited version.

It's the Romulans, it's ALWAYS the Romulans

In all seriousness, though, I'd kinda like to see it, also.

I thought Bush just said Bin Laden wasn't responsible. Funny I guess Clinton was right http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/09/11/george-w-bush-wins-the-wa_n_125751.html (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/09/11/george-w-bush-wins-the-wa_n_125751.html)

They said bin Laden wasn't the mastermind, not that he wasn't responsible. They have the guy that planned the attacks in jail. Your own link says this.

I stand corrected. ;)

National Geographic is airing 'Inside 911'.

It is not very complimentary on American intel. Basically screwed up big time.

I never knew Bush put on his hunting boots, jacket, grabbed his rifle, and went over there looking. You would have thought that might make the news.
-
Bin Laden gives an understandable face to an ubiquitous threat that has nothing to do with person cults. Therefore they don't even want him gone.

The name Al-Qaeada provides that understandable face as well imo.

Don't know if it's the edited or unedited version, but it's up at YouTube. There are 24 sections for part one and only 16 for part two.
