Title: Warriors the film. A tribute to the American fighting men & women.
Post by: Obie303 on September 12, 2008, 09:50:41 AM
This was sent to me by a very good friend that I owe a lot to.  In light of the seventh anniversary of 9/11 and the ongoing war on terrorism, I found this film to really hit home for me personally.  I'm truly at a loss for words.

All gave some, some gave all.

Those folks, warriors, understand what this quote really means.

War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made so and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.

John Stuart Mill (1806-1873)
