There is another one that Vultee made with the gull wing.
its called the Vultee Vengence, it was an early war dive bomber, would be nice for EW.

Hawk 75/P-36 would make more sense. Just the skins that could be done and the countries that flew it, would make it worthwhile.

true for skins but its realy under gunned imo i like that the p-66 hasnt been in any other flight sim that ive seen
it had poor perf. in china but underskilled pilots/mechanics didnt help it

It had an unusual, "W" shaped wing planform as a result from an error in calculating its center of gravity. Moving the wing back by "sweeping" the center section was a simpler fix than re-designing the wing root. This gives impression of an inverted gull wing, like the F4U Corsair, when seen from an angle, when in fact the wing has a more conventional dihedral on the outer wing panels.
ack-ack

No, not right now, we don't need yet another obscure American aircraft when core aircraft of other air forces are still absent.
Once those other air forces have been fleshed out, sure, why not.
-
It's got the same armament is the P-40C. 4 7.62s and 2 .50s
-
+1 looks like a fun little plane :aok

Some of us want the weird and obscure, and for some of us it has nothing to do with numbers built or historical relevance

True, but for the vast majority of the people for whom numbers built and historical significance does not matter, how powerful the unit is matters very much indeed.
For my part, I cannot see how this thing would add more to the game than the Ki-43 in terms of fun.

Many things did. I don't think we need all of them before we can get the Ki-43.
