Title: TrackIr4 and looking over your shoulder (6 view)
Post by: Heater on September 14, 2008, 10:01:15 PM
Hi all as a new TrackIr4 user (like it so far) the only problem I am having, is the 6 view, for some reason I can not get it sorted out, I just get the “zoomed” in view of the seat/ etc…. i.e. I can not figure out how to get around this…. Using the default profile… any ideas or profiles around?

Mace had one pasted but the link is invalid now. You do want to uncheck 'TrueView' and I believe the program priority should be set to 'Above Normal' for smoother operation.

Aside from that I did some scaling and just lean slightly when doing the '6 chk' to clear the headrest.

If someone gets an outstanding version working they should submit it NaturalPoint.

Yep, what Chalenge said - you can sit further forward when centering, so it gives you more backview, but I just lean around - make sure your trackir is set to above normal in the process list in task manager (bring up task manager, right click, set priority, abovenormal) and in the settings for AH, look for the relative to plane check box, and untick it (once done, if your looking back and lean left, you actually go left rather than right - as its not relative to the plane any more).

HTH,
