Seems it's another case of VFR flight into IMC.
Darwin claims another one.
It's a pity he took his wife and kid with him on a ferry flight in an aircraft he'd only just purchased. Evidentially he was advised not to press on when he refuelled at Scone but it appears he was anxious to get home.  :furious

i always hate when i see things like this. it makes all of the rest of us look stupid.
