Title: birthday hell
Post by: SKYGUNS on September 15, 2008, 10:18:26 PM
In highschool about a week before my Girlfriends birthday she begs me for a good birthday present, i say without paying attention, OK.
I go to the mall to buy a Tim burton wallet at Spencer's and put about 50 bucks in it and lose it 15 minutes after i buy it.

so i just give here 100 bucks for here birthday, Pretty good considering that most friends get her a cupcake, a birthday balloon, and a corny happy birthday card.

Total adds up to 156.50$ money bye bye on a girl in a week, thats more than my paycheck

Try harder next time ;) You can do a LOT better than $100. The wallet was good, but it can get better too.

Could you of used the other pockets in your pants? You have 3 left out of 4 in a standard pair of jeans   :P

next time you get a bright idea about yer girlfriend, you'd probably be better off slaming yer lil buddy in the door a few times before making up your mind.

I think my most expensive was $250 for a sunset-horseback-ride-on-the-beach. Shes a cheap date, but even she was ecstatic about that one.

If you dont know the girl and what she would find romantic then atleast put in the effort and google for gift tips. Its not about the ammount (unless she is a prostitute) but the effort you put into it. They know when you just want to pay your way out of making an effort ;) Next time be abit more creative.
