My dear foe,
Did you receive the care package which was posted on my behalf in September of this year, 1940? I sent it to you at your Berlin residence. I do hope the post was gentle in the handling of the package. I know you've a war in progress now and can use all the explosives you can get, so I sent some to aid you. I'm afraid the budget for such large packages is quite restricted, so I had to select the shipping option with the lowest price. The option included a comment about air dropping. I presume this uses parachutes, but hopefully the heavy metal canister we used to pack the explosives will withstand a short trip through your reinforced bunker roof if this is not the case.
Do write back to inform me of its safe arrival. If you did not receive it intact, I will surely send another!

Everyone, I will be opening registration for Battle of Britain 2008 on Thursday night (Sept. 25th) (as I'm out of town starting Friday until Sunday).
We will probably not be increasing registration once it is full. (Rangoon taught us that increasing registration just means we get way more no shows than we can fill with walkons, which organizationally causes problems.) After registration is full, anyone wishing to play can show up as a walkon -- there are usually spots available, but at least CO's can more accurately predict how many pilots they will have.
