Title: On the uproll boys! Fire!
Post by: Phaser11 on September 17, 2008, 11:32:46 AM
This is a test.
To those who are really watching this election close. Joe Biden was giving a speech last week and quoted the Pledge of Allegiance and made a standard Democrat gaff. Anyone else notice it? The media is ignoring it. Where was he at?

For you John McCain fans, I’m putting one together for him on another subject.

And before you fire your full broad side, I don’t care who wins any more, I just want them to go away.

AMEN! I don't think any Presidential politics should happen farther out than 6 months before the final election. All primaries and conventions should happen within the first 4 months and leave the last 2 months to nothing but getting down to the final election. That way we don't have to listen to the BS for 2+ years like we have this time. Next election they will start this crap 3 years before the actual election.

Looks for the books by Alexander Kent as good or better that Hornblower or Lucky Jack Aubrey.

Master and Commander
Jack Aubrey discussing which weevil to pick over dinner with the surgeon on board.

I tried the first two Hornblower books and found the Aubrey/Maturin series to be much more complex and in-depth.
