Title: Early blackout onset
Post by: Rino on September 17, 2008, 09:00:15 PM
I'm getting instant onset blackouts at 4Gs in several different kinds of birds.
Also getting blackouts starting from the middle of the screen spreading outboard.
Last is I'm getting weird holes in the blackouts corresponding to gauge positions
in the instrument panel.

     Running a 3.0 Pentium D with 2G of ram and a 256M 7900 GTX video card.  First
time this kind of thing happening, only thing different is change to widescreen rez
1680 by 1050.

when I first tried 1280x800 (widescreen) last year, i got the backwards blackout (center to edge).  I think it just took a restart to fix.. but as I realized the resolution cut off so much vertical FOV, I went back to 1024x768.

when I went back to 1280x800 today, I've had no problems at all... You wouldnt happen to be running a nvidia 8400gs would you?

Nope, an older 7900..but I completely exited the game and when I relogged
blackouts went back to normal.  Just exiting the arena and re-entering didn't do it.

I am having the same problem - game is basically unplayable - even light G's produce heavy blackouts from the center.

Intel Core 2 duo E8400 3GHz
3GB ram
Nvidia GeForce 8800GT

Relogged a few times to no effect...
