Title: Could Vista be doing it?
Post by: uberslet on September 17, 2008, 09:57:19 PM
When i plug in my headset (USB) i can use my mic, but my sound goes to crap. its a usb hub, so i cant keep the phones unplugged. on the other hand, i dont have the headset plugged in and i dont have a mic. Was wondering if Vista could be the reason for the sound defect when i plug in my headset.  :salute

on board sound means the plugs are in the group with all the other plugs on your computer. A sound card would be in your add on slots.

got 2 usb ports on one side, one on the other. my indivdual plugs, mic, phones and recording (i think it is) are all in a group.
