I was in a Stanford U advanced project management class working towards my masters this past week, so I have to catch up on my real work. We'd already planned to go camping nearby 1.5 hours away in the Cascade Mountains, so...have laptop, have office, will travel! :aok

New tire cover ($30)

Turn the lights on before you launch it.

Makes it easier to find.

Makes my popup look sad --very nice rip :aok
The wife has been pushing me to rent one of those next summer, and take a trip out to the grand canyon and such with the young-uns..
Are they pretty easy to handle on the road?
-
The first thing I added to my motor home was a solar trickle charger.
You got the V10?
-
I owe it to myself to tell you that if you're taking the whole tribe cross-country, the Wagon Queen Family Truckster is the way to go. You think you hate it now, but just wait until you drive it.

Been there, Nwbie! Tent>>Pop up>>Travel Trailer>>Truck Camper and now this.
No sweat on handling class C's.

Great idea on the solar. We don't usually do alot of dry camping, so I've no justification for one *yet* ;)
This has the 460 ci. We got 10.5 miles to the gallon on Labor day week-end. Only 46,000 miles on it! The best my F250HD 460ci got with the truck camper on it was 8.5 mpg. We're picking up an additional 16 ft of living space and 2 mpg with the new rig! Doing my part on conserving fuel! :salute :P
Diablox, LMAO! We have that song burned on a CD for the CD player ready to go!

I honestly don't think we're going to find the Grand Canyon on this road.
Clark: Jesus, it's only the biggest Jod-damn hole in the world.
Aunt Edna: Clark, watch your language!
Clark: Make that the second biggest.

To me it is. But Ive spent enough trips climbing 8,000' with only what I have on my back, a shovel to dig a hole next to a tree for my morning glory. While watching for Bears. Taking a bath in a 32.2% trout creek.
Quoth the raven, `Nevermore.'

Heh, been there, done similar...it's a natural progression. You're younger, and more readily available for body discomforts. Then as you age, and a warm RV with oatmeal and a place to take a crap sounds better and better the older you get. :D

Ain't that the truth!
Chitter N shower solve a lot of problems as one gets older. :D:D:D
Trickle charger helps if you "forget" to do your monthly fire ups also ...
Don't know about up there but here we can have snow, sometimes 4 months running.

Excellent work installing a smoke and CO detector.

Strangely, they were missing when I bought the unit. The Gas detector is built into the unit and it tests out great...I farted and it set it off! :rock

I got the presentation done early Sat morning. Watched the movie RV and LOL...great week-end with our neighbors and kids. Cloudy, rainy at times, but good company and a nice fire kept us warm! Even our Choc lab and the neighbor's new puppy had a good time! My neighbor used my spare D70s and he did a nice job for a rookie!

Rusty Griswold: Wow dad, we must have jumped that rail by like 50 yards!
Clark: Nothing to be proud of Russ...
[pauses as Rusty walks away]
Clark: [proudly] ... 50 yards... :rock
Best scene from the movie as Rusty had already pounded the beer.
