I'm looking for some sources for soundtracks for my next video.
Can anyone help me out with this?

Buy some CDs from classical composers? Or perhaps watch some films listening for the music instead of watching the action?

I'll let you in on my sevret stash....look up "Immediate Music"

Ahhhhh now I have the secrets......... :aok :salute

You have to pay for those soundtracks Latrobe?
-
If you want to use them legally, yes. You must also contact the publisher or the author of the music to receive permission to use the copyrighted soundtrack or music.

'Tis true. However, the odds of being approached by the owner of the copyright to not use their material for a non-profit internet video are pretty slim. Unless it manages to get 5 million views on YouTube and is a viral video sensation. I've been doing video game movies from about 6 years and I have not heard of anyone being contacted in any such way.
But they owner would have the right to request it not be used. So it could happen.
