Title: Media bias
Post by: Gunthr on September 22, 2008, 10:13:51 PM
another example:

"OBAMA COULD LOSE 6 POINTS IN ELECTION FOR BEING BLACK."

http://www.nydailynews.com/news/politics/2008/09/22/2008-09-22_poll_barack_obama_could_lose_six_percent.html (http://www.nydailynews.com/news/politics/2008/09/22/2008-09-22_poll_barack_obama_could_lose_six_percent.html)

You'd think that in its search for truth that the same poll would consider the question of how many votes McCain would lose for being white (I bet it is a lot more than 6 points) but no...

...and that data point would be far more newsworthy in my opinion.

Really blatant bias in liberal media mindset there......

I have never seen such a biased media. It is like we're already under communist government.

the only one talking about race is the semi black dude

if you don't vote for him you must be a racist

its called reverse psychology - sad it will work on many a dem voting type ...

strange how no one is quoting the multitude of black folks who are voting for him only because of his "color" .. isn't that racist???

You may have never "seen" such a biased media but it has existed for decades.

I quit watching the news years ago. I quit reading the papers years ago.

Try that.. go a few years and then go back and look at it.. you will be sickened.

It's not just the liberals.  I am quoting myself something I said in January of '08:

May another 10 ti 20 years, when whites are the minority...then Obama might have a chance.

Yeah, but that's your personal opinion on a message board, which is fine.

The news media is worse than a horde of vultures taking a base.

They don't report the news any more, they look for or make a story out of nothing to get ratings, and try and sway the publics opinion one way or another to fit in with there agenda.

The news is supposed to provide facts, and let the viewers formulate there own opininons, that's it.

The media machine is a joke, as much as the democraps and republicons are.

To me none of them are in touch with our reality, but more like bizzaro world.

For many years I held the belief that America will elect a black man president before a white woman, and I stand by that belief.  If McCain is elected and prematurely kicks the bucket, that doesn't count.

Yup. I'm an 'Equal Opportunity Hater' myself. Seems to be a lot of us in NYC.

Hehe, reminds me of the two years I lived on the East coast....you argue when you order lunch from a fricking vendor on the street. Hell, you argue over everything...

Yup. we do. But, we pull together in a heartbeat. An oddity to be sure.. the guy we berate one second we'll defend with astonishing fury and tenacity in the next from any 'outsider'.  We love the underdog and defy authority as a knee jerk reaction. Don't ever underestimate the character of a New Yorker when the chips hit the fan. Color, religion, background, neighborhood.. Challenge us. You'll have yer bellybutton in a sling if we can get at yah.
