Could the C-47 hold a jeep? I seem to recall a picture of one loading through the side cargo door. If so... it would be fun to load a jeep or two and drop them off behind enemy lines :D
-
Even gliders held jeeps.

but... who will sit in one while it gets flow deep behind enemy lines?

What are trying to say? The Me-323 was the king of transport in WWII. It carried almost 11,000lbs. with a speed of around 157mph. Not only that but one variant had an armament of seven 13mms and one 20mm.

5th AF and the Aussies did it with the Jeep. Got the time down to 2 and 1/2 minutes to load, 2 minutes to unload a jeep.
