Title: Scotty to bridge...

I still got no power!!

we got no damage at the house from Ike, but power is still down.  (midnight tonight will make for 2 weeks)

Fortunately the weather has cooperated somewhat and we've had cool nights, but I'm having serious withdrawal from AH.  (I did manage to get in a few hours at a friends house last week)

I've seen lots of power trucks down here from all over the country and I want to say thanks to all the people spending time away from their families so that I'll be able to get back up in the (cartoon) air soon.

Seriously, I hope they can get the power up in the entire area soon. It's still Summer down there and really nasty with the humidity!  :(

Fortunately it's nice (mid 70's and dry) in Cody WY right now. The Buffalo Bill museum is fantastic.

Update:  Friday about 2:00 PM we got the power back on.

So how crazy doeswind power (http://www.ecovantageenergy.com/catalog/items/item690.htm) sound to you now? Did you know you can get a $3800 grant from the Feds to buy one? I'm filing for one next week.

I personally wouldnt have even headed back to my home without a generator
