Yes to the P-36. And unlike hollywood would like you to believe five P-36s were the only American aircraft to get off the ground during the attack on Pearl Harbor. They were credited with two kills of A6Ms with one P-36 being lost in the process.
-
would be interesting to have that, and btw that's a beautiful picture.
-
The pic that Twinboom posted is actually Seversky Guardsman trainer, not even a Curtiss product. :)
EDIT/The first picture that is./EDIT

Wing loading: 25 lb/ft² (122 kg/m²)
Wing loading similar to a SpitV?
Power/mass: 0.18 hp/lb
This is correct? That is same power loading as the Pony I believe. Why is the climb rate only 2,500 fpm? Lack of effective turbo/supercharging? That being the case, would it average better on the deck?

+1 :aok

YES! :aok

I'll have to double-check, but I'm pretty sure a pair of P-40s flown by Lts. Taylor and Welch got up. They claimed 6-7 bombers (no Zeros) between them (PH was EXTREMELY loosely inspired by this). Sounds like more than only P-36s to me.

French flew it, Finns flew it. Norwegians too I believe. RAF, USAAF etc. It is a missing piece of the early war planeset
-
Yes, and while your at it, add the D 520, and MS 406, so we can have the battle of France.

When the p40 gets remoddeled it should be quite easy to use it to model the p36.
I dont see why we cant have it
