I think if two folks go HO at each other, that if the bullets find there mark on each aircraft to the point of structural failure, that BOTH pilots should be awarded kills. Why, you ask? Well, if my lag is slightly less than your lag, I will get the kill first, even if my A/C is no longer flyable. It's an unfair advantage when you have a squeaky clean connect like mine.

I am not sure how this works in detail. (is it lag that does this?) But certainly the kill should be awarded to both. The buffs ability to continue firing at a con with their wing gone and in a death spiral also allows them to kill the pilot and get a kill when in fact they where killed first. It is also nearly imposible to bail from a bomber attack because of the focused defensive fire.

Well, as far as gunners firing from dead bombers spinning to earth, I think it unlikely that anyone would have the ability to hang on to their guns, much less fire with any accuracy.
