thnx :aok

You can play it ONLINE free for 1st 2 weeks, no credit card required--OFFLINE, is forever--(if you are serious, get acquainted with basics OFFLINE, before you log in and start the clock on the 2 weeks) Download some of the 'offline missions'--gives you reasonable facsimile of multiplayer fights

Yeah, what bj229r said...
And, you don't loose any features just because you're on your free two weeks (when you decide to sign up for online play). You have full access to everything the online game has to offer.

To expand on the answer of 1 month for $14.95 US - during that one month, you can play as much as you want. If you feel like it, you can play 24 hours a day every day for that one month payment.

You can't use custom skins on the 2 week trial unless they've changed something in the past couple of months.

You'll need a joystick to start, a twisty stick, is recommended. Cheapo's cost about $30. Once that burns out, which for me was about a month, you can go to a more robost stick, CH I'll cost about about a buck. But dont waste money on that untill your addicted.
Peddles another buck. Which I hope my wife gets me for my burpday, which is coming up :pray
Track IR another few more bucks. :O
Now they have support for multi-monitor drivers.
So as everyone says here, practice offline, get the flight controls down, and learn basic manuavers. Once done, the training arena would be a helpful place to go up with a trainer. THe schedules are posted.
Then check out the Late War, but please, alwas ask to jump in someones plane before you do that.
Cheers
