Title: Is There A Way To Replace "Check Six" Sound File?

I heard that it may be possible.Could I say,use an EAW sound file or something else?..BTW,has anyone fessed up as to who the "Check Six" voice is?(Berry White?)..  :)

Just replace c:\program files\htc\aces high\sounds\check6.wav with whatever wav file you want to use.  I'd copy it somewhere else first as a backup.

Edit: It's either Pyro or Hitech, I forget which.

Hi SirLoin,
Also you can put a different "checksix" file in each aircraft folder if you like and have the appropriate nationality yell at you.

(Still looking for a russian one)  :)

Yes you are correct it is Berry White  :))..

"hey baby.. better check your six"

It would be fun to have a folder like with sqd emblems, you can upload your favorite check6 call, then everyone can hear it.

I got my brother to make the sound for me.  He speaks Russian.  :)

I believe it would be appropriate to have a Barry White check six sound which went something this: "Oh baby, Oh baby please check your six!" Or, (in deep basso) "if you aint gonna check your six, then take your clothes off"    :D
