i am using qwest and i was getting discoed every 5 seconds
but then we called the qwest guy and he came over and told me that the problem was that qwest is not supposed to be connected to the outlet where you usually put in your phone line
that means every time someone called and mostly just out of nowhere i would get discoed because the phone line interrupted my connection.
he also said that comcast removed some crucial wiring (that only qwest needed) when they hooked up the comcast(which we removed)
but the main problem was the phone line thing when they hooked it up wrong once.
if have been getting disconnected with qwest you might really want to check this because it is 90% chance that something went wrong with the wiring.
make sure that qwest isn't connected by the phone line.
after this if you are still getting disconnected call qwest and get technicion over there.
hope this helps :D

If Qwest was supplying you DSL, just plug a DSL filter into that phone jack. Then you can connect the phone-line running to the modem to the same jack without getting disconnected via stray phone calls. That will save you some money on a service call. :aok
(Yes, I know your issue is fixed.)
