I've seen a couple of nightfighter skins on the webs and I was wondering if they were legit and if someone had the time to make one if they are?

Rules to posting skin requests:
1.) research before you post
2.) find the model of our in-game compared to the real one
3.) provide links, pictures, etc.
Check each box where completed:

ours is a fighter bomber mk6.
we dont have night so a night fighter is not needed.
I think kev has covered most varaitions of mk6 skin

301103, if you are talking about 'black' Mosquitoes it probably won't happen. Early night fighting Mosquitoes were indeed finished in all-over Special Night, but this was the NFII Mossie which we don't have in the game. As stated above we have the FB VI. The two 418 RCAF skins (one is the default) already wear the later night fighter paint scheme (introduced 01 Oct. 1942) which is all-over Medium Sea Grey with a Dark Green disruptive pattern on the upper surfaces only. So technically we already have a night fighter scheme in game and it's correct.

Actually best thing to do is email Skuzzy and ask him.
One of the reasons for not allowing a skin from a different variant is that they may add the variant into the game in the future.
Always worth a shot, you never know.

I did but it was a while back. nightfighter W4090. It was practically invisible at night but sticks out like green thumb in the day. :rofl :rofl :roflRules to posting skin requests:

He just asked man, don't mug him for it.

Have to agree though. He did absolutely no personal research himself, and expected us to make a skin. He couldn't even get a single image off of google to show what he was describing? Couldn't ID a single squadron, date, or airframe?
-
Still though, he could have asked nicely not done :furious :furious :furious :furious :furious
p.s. here's what he is talking about (I think)

It wasn't that he was trying to be impolite, but I know it certainly gets frustrating watching new kids come in expecting everyone to do everything for them. I knew I was certainly guilty of posts like the OPs when I first arrived, and as a result of the normal BBS response, I now know to google it, find some history, read some books, and come onto the boards with the most detailed, specific request possible.
And here is the catch, the "I think". As has been described, the 'night fighter' skin might be the grey and green, or black. The OP hasn't identified which he is referring to.

I asked Pyro what would be an acceptable substitution for the Mk VI Mosquito when it first came out. It is OK to skin a Mk II night fighter onto the Mk VI shape, however you are not allowed to skin any of the later night fighter marks that had a radome nose.
I have already submitted a black Mk II night fighter Mosquito, here's the thread:-

Do you mean if we will make one or have made one? :headscratch:

To me, those aren't pics or details. Those are some far away screenshots and nothing about the skin, it's history etc. etc.

Only found one pic. Did you click on the pictures? The only thing I know for sure on this plane is its serial number W4090 and type an NF.II. When I googled it it gave ads for mosquito spray :rofl
