Title: President Roosevelt and his televised 1929 address
Post by: hlbly on October 03, 2008, 08:33:13 AM
Senator Biden stated that after the 1929 stock market crash then sitting president Roosevelt got on TV and didn't just talk about the princes of greed .Wow and people are calling Palin dumb . How many TV's in the US then 4 or 5 , and wasn't Hoover president in 29 ? Or was I taught the wrong thing all these years ? Where are the Letterman , Leno ,Daily , Colbert jokes on this . I am non partisan , how ever I think that there should be a level playing field . I know I am one of these relics that believe in fair play . I believe that certain things should raise us and our leaders above all this partisan Bullshine .

I remember that show! The ads were awesome! Seeing all those old cars in color, the Lucky Strike commericals with the pretty girls in bikinis. It was great.
