I've recently been experiencing a problem where, mid-flight, one or more axis in my control setup will suddenly lose calibration. It happened again last night. After FSO my squad went to the mains. I take off without trouble and am circling the field when all the sudden my rudder completely loses calibration and my plane is crabbing as if I'm using full right-rudder. After some effort I managed to restore enough control to land and recalibrate. I take off again, and THIS time it's my throttle. Suddenly my throttle is either full on or full off. I recalibrated the axis and didn't have any further trouble last night.
However a couple nights before the exact same thing happened. I'm in the DA practicing with a couple squaddies when my calibration goes haywire. Recalibrating fixed.
I asked on the mains last night and it seems like I'm not the only one who's run into this since 2.13.

I had similiar problem . Mine was due to reset by usb port . Don't remember the exact details .Skuzzy suggested a externally powered usb hub . Bought one at radio shack for 20 bucks hasn't happened since .

I have had this problem for some time now too! All of a sudden stick goes out of calibration. I have a Saitek X52. It was recommended that I get a powered hub, did so and it didn't fix the problem. I still go out of cal at least once per session of flying. Even off line.
Don't ever remember having this number of cal problems with my old Thrustmaster.
I am wondering if maybe the T1 to T6 switches may have something to do with loss of cal? Sometimes my tubby tummy hits them. :( I haven't tried this idea scientifically yet. (ie. hitting these switches on purpose while flying.)

This may or may not help, but try looking at the USB power settings and make sure the USB ports are not set for power-save mode.

This is most likely your problem. When the USB ports go into power save mode they will switch off certain features of your joystick and will cause your stick to do some very strange things. Once you attempt to access the port the port itself wakes back up but then your stick is out of calibration.
I have the same joystick and have never had a problem and i have mine plugged into the USB on the front panel of the computer.
