Okay fellers I took the bait and downloaded Firefox 3. Now the print is a tad bit harder to read. Any fixes?

V3 has a feature under 'View', that allows you to set the default 'Zoom' for any web page, and it does a reasonable job of remembering the setting for that site if you go back.
You can zoom everything on the page, or by checking 'Zoom text only' zoom just the text. I use that a lot, as my tired eyes don't like small print.

hold down CTRL and scroll your mouse wheel - that zooms in and out.
-
It's the quality of the print that doesn't look quite as good as it should. I can read it but it seems a little lighter.
-
I noticed no differences between FF2 and FF3 as the way you're describing. Can you provide a screenshot?

Yes, a SS would be nice. I found no differences...

That is all I've ever done.

Same here. Looks exactly the same to me.

May be worth looking into ClearType if you use an LCD, it's basically AA for text but it does seem to make it sharper and clearer.
-
Personally I can not stand the ClearType on my monitor at work. It makes everything look blurry and squished together to much.

Try increasing the font size.
Go to Tools>Options>Content
-
in firefox just go to the View tab ^^^^^ (up there) and increase font size.

Move closer to monitor.

Move closer to monitor.
:lol :lol It's a 24 inch monitor.

I've got a 22" monitor and have no problem with FireFox. Not sure what the question is, but you might have to get glasses, or stick your face close to the monitor

I have an Acer Program called Advanced Display Management. I tried loading it but it would stop at configuring setup. I thought that would help but of course the program failed. I can read everything just very well it just looks lighter.
