Title: sorting hit sounds

In a sound pack I see sounds labeled hit 1 through 6, I never figured out what was for what hit but I didn't really need new hit sounds. But now I'm starting to get pretty bored of the defaults and was wondering if anyone could tell me what hit sound was for what hit.

Some hit sounds i think are different size bullets/cannon sizes.

hit1 .30 cal
hit2 .50 cal
hit3 .15mm


Something like that, i could be way wrong but..i dunno.
