One of the most important things about this election will be Supreme Court replacements. Currently the court has 4 liberals, 4 conservatives, and one semi-conservative. At least two liberal justices will be retiring in the next presidential term.
So if McCain is elected president, the Supreme Court will have a conservative majority for a generation. If Obama is elected president, the SC will remain balanced.

Like the Democrats look out for our best interests?

Seems like I remember someone pointing this out on this very BBS a few dozen or so times in the past back around........2000 and 2004 and 2008.
Can't remember who it was though.

Supreme Court? The one in the judicial or legislative branch of our government?
