God dang, those were the days, get on for a few hours, have a giant furball with around 200 pilots

Nothing better than mixing it up with dozens of Cons while in a Spit 1 and landing 4-5.

Indeed. Never got better than getting 100 feet off the end of the runway and already engaging someone.

People who suck in fighters Hate Fighter town, because we're all there instead of helping them with global domination. So, they will just come in and destroy it...For our own good...Of course ...:(

Seriously why does everyone whine about the maps? We have a very nice tank/fighter town on orange map right now,
granted the knits finally took it back. Blue map was quite nice also, no fighting going on 1 side of the map so I upped a fighter mission
and got a small furball of 5 on 5 going.

Seriously Adonai, looks like a lot of people requesting something fun from our past.  Why come in all high and mighty with the age old "quit whining"?

I would love to have Donut back, and some of the other better maps we have out there in stock, however -
I want to remember how fun donut was without remembering the 15k Ponies, Ho-tard N1k's, 20k B-17's bombing volleyball fields
next to airfields. It would seriously ruin my good memories to bring the map back and watch 20 minutes later one country on the horde
takes the entire FT. Think about it, want your memories to be tasteless?  :salute

I miss the good parts of fighter town.  What I don't miss is the frustration that went along with it, logging in to see that one country or another had either captured all the bases, or had taken down the FH's, or had a cap and was vulching.  It was fun but also brought out the worst in the community, I can't remember when the rift between the furballers and generals was deeper or wider than when we had Fighter Town.

Skuzzy is the one who has to update the terrain. And seeing as he barely has time to approve new terrains, he undoubtedly doesn't have time to update terrains.

I like the suggestion a while back to make the fighter fields in tank/fighter town non-capturable.  Maybe even the VHs too.  In this way we can furball and GV battle to our hearts content!  :aok
