Almost Spinal Tapish.  One of Rush's most pretentious songs...and yet I played the crap out if when I was a teen.  Haven't heard it in years, thanks!

Their high point for me.  Never get tired of this song.  And the snap, crackle, pop of vinyl...oh how I do miss it.

I'll pass on the low quality media, but thanks for the post.   :)

I lose Rush musically after Counterparts.

I enjoy Jacobs Ladder.    But my fav Rush tune?   Either this:

In The End (off of Fly By Night): (this version is right after Rutsey was sacked and Peart joined.   Also, this was before Fly By Night came out in 75).   But this tune is No.1 as my fav.

Wow, I wish I held on to all my vinyl records.  I still have a few dozen.  I even have a DJ quality turn table.  Problem is I don't have a receiver with a phono input. LOL  So the vinyl is sitting in the garage gathering dust.

I always thought Rush's high point was the Moving Pictures album, with Tom Sawyer, YYZ, Red Barchetta, and Limelight.  Yeah, it does seem pretentious now, but when I was thirteen I thought Rush was the band.  I spend most of my six-string hours trying to imitate Alex's licks.

Six, I regret not getting the CD "All the World's a Stage" (2112 Tour) sooner.    Get it, you'll love it.

I think I had that at one point, it's the one with the drum kit on the cover and I believe fly by night is on it. Iirc, there is an awesome drum solo on that one. I think it was the cassette tape I had, wore it out driving around in my old furyIII
