I am betting this forum becomes the least used on the boards now.
Sucks, the Oclub was a fun place, but this has been coming for some time.

Doubt it. This forum was better before campaign season. There were actually things to read. Once the primaries ended, it became page after page of copy-pasted emails and pointless troll-fests.

I would have to agree with indy on theat one. Got to be so that all we saw were political threads on the first page. I kind of think it might be nice around here now.

I also disagree with you. The boards are supposed to be fun to read and enjoyable. When it comes to politics and racist rants, nobody has any fun. I for one am looking forward to it.

Got to agree with that sentiment entirely. FWIW I stopped bothering to even read any thread about the election because it was the same old crap. I hope that things can be relaxed a bit after the election is over.

Even when there is no election this board has always been about politics.
Taking that away is like taking someones leg off.

Some ^%&* probably reported that his ^%$^& got hurt because he cant handle other views from others. Just like an evil regime, one person squeaks and gets the grease, everyone else must suffer for it.
Why even have the BBS if you cant say "C" word, talk about politics, HTC needs to stand up for the majority, if someone cant take the HEAT, by OUR GRACIOUS GOD IN HEAVEN,,, GET OUT of the Kitchen, stop playing in this PC &^%^^&

No, it was probably more that the O'Club was turning into a cesspool dominated by pointless discussions of politics drowning out anything else. I don't think anybody complained, it was just a smart move on HTC's part.

I'm betting complaints WERE filed. Besides the place becoming too time consuming to manage, among other things, brought about the end we all knew would come. We were warned. It is interesting to note that some people only hung around this place when certain topics were being debated, at certain times.

Every discussion of everything on the internet is pointless. Also falling into the "pointless" category is playing AH and virtually everything else humans do outside of necessity.
