The biplanes of WWII:
http://surfcity.kund.dalnet.se/biplanes.htm
It would be cool to have them even just for GV or CV spotting if nothing else.
And of course, masochists such as myself might even try to fight in them once in a while.
Enjoy.

Sure would be nice! Swordfish too, please.

Cr.42 to.

With a couple of exceptions, the Cr. 42 Falco and I-15, who lingered on into the mid-war era, all of these aircraft would be early war, or in some cases, pre-war (pre-1939), aircraft.
That being said, it'd be nice to have additions like these. The Swordfish is a novel idea, but was pulled from service by 1942. It'd be another aircraft relegated to the EW arenas, most likely as hangar queens, since very few players actually make torpedo runs on ships these days.

I would fly them.

I think a Cr.42 vs. Gloster Gladiator (or insert your favorite EW v EW matchup) would be a great fight, and I'm all for it.
But again, aside from a few players like us, is it going to alter the fate of the EW arenas?

The swordfish went all through the war.During the latter years it was mainly a anti sub aircraft for convoy protection. It would be good in early war if the cvs were early war and not the gunned up hulks they are now with the lazers 5 inch shells

Made it to four posts before the "played out" term "hangar queen" was used.
Some folks just don't "get it".
