The Oxford Project: Photographed an entire town in Iowa, then came back 20 years to do the same and interview the residents, too. A pretty impressive project and the stories some folks tell are amazing, too.
Saw it on CNN: http://www.cnn.com/2008/LIVING/wayoflife/10/07/oxford.project/index.html

It's a bit overloaded b/c of the CNN publicity. I can't get to the page for the price of the book, but I'd be interested in it.

The guy in the middle bottom, with the military uniform, Jim Hoyt... where do I know that name from? I had this huge explosion of "I KNOW THAT GUY!!!" when I saw the name, but I cannot think of who he was...
