Title: X36 - Hazardscript?
Post by: qts on January 06, 2002, 06:13:00 AM
I can't get into the Hardware forum at the moment, so this is the next nearest.

Has anyone developed Hazardscript profiles for Aces High for the X36?

Because AH has very configuarble settings within the game, I use just the basic Direct X script with only a few specialized buttons.

The one limitation Ive found very disapointing with hazard script and AH is that if I try and map the hat with "up" views when used with the pinkie switch, it just doesnt function quite right.  So I just use the mouse button as "5" and get by that way.

Does Hazardscript need a third party driver?

Script snaffled!

Yes, Hazardscript needs Dhauzimmer's X36/X45 driver.

Hmmm "Hazardscript" huh?  Never heard of this before.  Is that another term for the SGE Profiles ?

Anyway, If it's any help, I ran an X36 HOTAS and TM rudder pedals using the SGE software, and the "x36pedals.sys" driver from 'thestickworks.com' [the latter is no longer needed since you can use 2 sticks in AH now].
And now I'm using the X45 n' rudders which work just as well.  I can send you a profile if ya like. Just holler  :D

S!

Hazardscript is a way of programming the X36 if you're running W2000.
