Title: seems like an issue of integity
Post by: c H e F on October 09, 2008, 02:58:38 PM

In my HO, there should be no player allowed to use and enter the games with 2 or more computers using multiple accounts. I know this happens. I did it once years ago and felt like an ass. Recently, one guy identified me when there was no one else around nor did I die at his hand to make it obvious. In his perpetual propensity for trash talk he slipped calling me out by name after a H2H pass and I kept going on my mission. It reminded me of how easily this is done. You don’t know names like that unless you have 2 computers with a scrap sacrificial account for spying and stalking etc. It should not be allowed or a special announcement to the room should be be made. Like "so-in-so is now spying" with multiple accounts.  I know it is revenue for HTC but really?

Well maybe there are specific hacks to reveal nme player names, I don’t know. But the guy is one of those hs a highest rating, all the time. Maybe he's retired or disabled and has the time to devote to this game like that. I hate to think that these kind of players utilize multiple computers, but unless they have a real program hack, or another nme player always ready to spy for them, that is the way this one guy must be doing it. I am not saying he isn’t good. He's great, and no, am I not at all envious of his skill. That will be the first accusation and the hurl of a juvenile's defense.

The issue is integrity.

I know of no warrior constantly aided by perfectly planted high ranking spies moving with impunity, undetected in the VERY area of his interest, on demand for his every mission, 24/7. This is what a second computer/account ID accomplishes. With another account established on another of the 3 nations, you can even sit in a tower and survey the field, planning your approach from knowing who is sitting where defending on the field. This clandestine act doesn’t endanger the secondary account at all and is totally unjustified. Sure that takes skill to set up, but it is an admin "loop hole",  should be banned at least from certain rooms or maps for integrity’s sake.

Was it Agent360?  He is a well known spy.  As I pointed in other threads there is a big list that needs to be addressed by HT:

SpyRock, Agent360, SpyPolar, Stang, AKspyAK, Spyfink, Levis nephew (don't remember the name now) etc . . .

We should demand action  :furious

Besides, if they banned shade accounts, they would lose up to half of their revenue stream!  :devil

Sure it's just a game. But more a simulation really. We pay to play under simulation,  not at the mercy of any arcade style tactic only favored by those having unmediated ADHD.

We also spend quit a bit of our valuable time, and I think that time should be spent under a reasonable assumption, expectation of fairness and trust in the integrity of the game.

Please understand there is no such thing as integrity in this game.  It does not exist.

Good luck on that one, dude.

BTW:  You are about to take one heck of a bloody beating on this forum that will go on uninpeded with your hands tied behind your back.

By who?

The same people that still want the options open to support their shady gameplay.  They won't be hard to spot.  They will be the ones attacking you the loudest.

ROX, if there is no integrity in this game as you state, why do you play?

Seriously.  If it's that miserable, then what's the point of subjecting yourself to it?

I could not care less about weenies with shades,I'm in the air looking for a good fight, spying dose not effect me in the slightest.

you will never rid second accounts. learn to get use to it and don't let it bother you. if you think its being abused then you need to film it and send it into HTC. it is well known around this community that these post are not to be made.

:aok thats the spirit if more people took that outlook about the game we probably wouldn't be discussing this  :salute

I only have one account. My Daughter is not interested in AH. My Wife is not interested in AH. My Dogs all like another kind of dogfight.

I'm sure some spying does occur but it is ineffective on most accounts. When you think of it, there was spying back in the day too.

I have no trouble with spies myself. I will announce where I am from time to time just to get fights. I can see where it would trouble those that play trying to duck the fight so they can attack undefended bases.

It's the only time he can get someone to talk to him without paying them.

My only problem with 2nd accounts are those that use them to pad their scores or as a cheap way to get perks without risk of dying, like 1HungLo was recently caught doing in the MW arena yesterday.
