Since I'm a hardcore German fan (Hope this doesn't offend any Yanks out there), I like to see this for the B-17G. The actually model is the F model, but I'm pretty sure you experts can work stuff out.

"Miss Nonalee II" , Last B-17 captured by the Germans.
Please and Thank you.
EDIT: It was the best colored picture I could find.

Sigh..
1. No captured Skins.
2. No B-17F on B-17G model.
3. No picture to prove it existed.
Even in New York that is three strikes, you are out.

Ok... never mind then I guess.... :noid

Yup. What he said. Although if you want a captured bird for yourself to fly offline, ive got some pictures of the captured Flak Wulf, a 303rd plane.
Im still waiting for them to release a B-17F so I can skin the original Flak Wulf

Out of sheer curiosity:
We have skins allowed for some substitute planes, (P-39Ns on P-39Qs, etc) so why are B-17F skins not allowed on the B-17G?
-
The same reason a Brewster Buffalo is not skinned on a F4U-1A, they don't look the same.

Well at least one strike & a foul a high hard one to the head. After you have selected a page click on the photo it will zoom out larger & clearer. Maybe I am missing something but I still don't see a black B-17 with yellow wingtips. :rofl
-
Nope your missing nothing looks like a skinners wish as far as that colour scheme go's. On some of the captured planes they painted the under side black but nothing else.

Yep. There WAS somewhere a pic of a dark-colored B-17F with what appears to be a yellow or other light colored tail, but I cannot seem to find where I saw it...
