Horror movies or scenes or parts of horror movies you just have to laugh at...
For example I cant resist laghing at
Chucky- its a physco barby doll that kills people for gods sake
28 days later- their is a sudden moment of silence just after a conflict with the UK soldiers and the Survivors they were protecting, then you see a soldier run across the hall with no ammo left screaming like a girl then seconds later you see their pet zombie or "JONES" who was set free right behind him trying to get him.
you'd know what I'm talking about if you saw that part...

Texas Chainsaw massacre from the 70's and 80's. Leatherface runs around shaking his saw over his head and looks goofy and over the top.
-
All Peter Jackson splattermovies and most 'Living dead' movies, especially 'Return of the Living dead'.
-
Evil Dead...
A TREE? Come on now! :lol

Shaun of the dead. Love the British humor.
-
Army of Darkness. The entire movie.

That was funny :)
""We take Pete's car, we drive over to Mum's, we go in, take care of Philip - "I'm so sorry, Philip" - then we grab Mum, we go over to Liz's place, hole up, have a cup of tea and wait for this whole thing to blow over. ""
:rofl :rofl

Army of Darkness. The entire movie.
To be fair, I am not sure Evil Dead, Evil Dead 2 or Army of Darkness (Evil Dead 3) were ever really meant to be bona fide horror films.
The first Evil Dead, perhaps. It has the feel of a film they were trying to make seriously scary and it just got away from them. But the next two were meant to be funny / campy rather than scary.

The Grudge was just funny. I mean really, its a little japanese girl that been soaked in a tub for 20 years.
Dawn of the Dead/Land of the Dead

They were all meant to be funny. Evil Dead 2 is just Evil Dead 1 done 'right' (even though I think it still missed the mark it did show Bruce Campbell to be a better hero type then Bruce Willis by a WIDE margin!).

killer clowns from outer space
this movie always has me cracking up

Horror movies are fun for those who can have high empathy levels for the characters and easily "loose their identity" in the character's situation.
Which I simply can't do with the characters in a typical horror movie.
"Psycho killer on the loose? Let's arm ourselves....with FLASHLIGHTS! Now lets SPLIT UP and go look for the killer..."
-
i hear ya bnz it never ceases to amaze me that in all these movies where there is psycho on the loose nobody has a gun. There was a movie a few months back that used to crack me up every time the preview came on tv. I cant remember the title but it was about these people who went around to random houses killing people who happened to be home. The best scene from the preview was when they rang the doorbell and then swung an ax through the door. I used to laugh cause in my house and most peoples houses i know as soon as the ax came through the door bullets would be going out in the opposite direction
