You guys are friggin awsome! Thanks to your help, I now have two tunes on the Independent Music Network’s Top-30 Country Chart! Thanks so much for your support! Neither song would be there at all if not for the support of my friends. I hope I can count on your continued help, because I still need your votes! You can view the IMN chart at

“The Man They Need Me To Be” moved up from number 10 to number 7 this week (its fourth week in the Top-30). “Don’t Give Up On Me” is now at number 19, up from 24 last week (its second week in the Top-30).
Voting is now open for next week’s chart update. We’d really like to push “The Man They Need Me To Be” to number 1, but your vote for either song is hugely appreciated. You can cast your vote by doing the following:
1) Go to the above website
2) On the left sidebar, click on “VOTE FOR COUNTRY CHARTS”
3) Scroll down until you come across the songs for “Rich Owen” and click on the song of your choice.
4) Post back here to keep this thread visible on the BBS.
5) <Optional, but much appreciated> Forward this to friends and family who like country music.
That’s all there is to it! As always, you can listen to both songs at www.myspace.com/richowen61 . You can vote once per week (Tuesday through Monday) from any IP address, so you can vote from work and from home. So vote early and vote often :D. And thanks again for your support. I think Rich is a true gentleman and I like hearing from him no matter what the reason. His music is the best country/western Ive ever heard.
As for anything else its for AH, and the Mods, to police a forum. Not mine. Not ours.

Oh yeah Skyrock, I definitly agree with you < :uhoh > ... and helping we did ... by voting and boosting him up the charts.
As I said, it's not an attack to Sabre's talent, but I don't wish the o'club to turn out like my mail box where I have to read titles such as "buy the new drag engine my shop just finished", "vote for me as school president", "help me win again this online vintage bike buildup", "outbid highest bidder on my used underware sale on ebay" before finding "Sara Palin is hot".
I'm not acting as a backseat moderator either by voicing my opinion directly to Saber.
Anyway, good luck to you Saber, good material there.

I don't know Frenchy... I think that was a little rude. It only takes a second to read a thread title and pass it up.
And it's not like he's selling Amway or life insurance. Artists and songs require widespread promotion to move on the charts; that's how it works. To have one of us, someone from these boards, make a music chart is pretty amazing. It's the only time I can recall anything like this happening in this BBS. I don't expect Nilsen to start promoting himself on the Viking Rock Charts next week. Also, Sabre isn't just one of the masses around here. He's been in the game since Beta I and on these boards forever. He's been very active and has started some of the biggest threads ever.
Personally, I'm enjoying the updates and I'm proud to say, "I knew him when".
