Post by: MiloMorai on October 16, 2008, 04:47:12 PM

If you think so, I guess you're as dumb as he. He's not following the rules we all are accepting, he keeps posting new planes without even trying to have a guess at what people post. And I'll avoid making comments on the stuff he posts. THAT is rude and stupid. He's a little annoying kid and must be taken care of.

How many more times are you going to use this word in bold text?   You are VERY quick to call other folks "it", but the question I have for you is this.   Are you in front of a mirror?

Actually Bosco, Gian is being rather diplomatic. MANY of us have had run-ins with glock. He's clueless, confrontational, and feels the need to infest as many threads as possible. I suggest you peruse some of his posts, then form an opinion. :salute

I'm actually surprised someone hasn't started a "Vote glock89 Off The Island" thread. If someone did, I guarantee you the "yes" votes would carry by a substantial margin.

See, I'm not realy standing up for him, but I am in the same boat as he is. Thats what got me pizzed off about this whole ordeal, were you keep making posts of new planes without guessing them. Most of the time even before I get on, they have already guess the airplane and it keeps going down. Why should I have to sit on the computer, and wait for someone to post it, just so I can post mine? To, thats what I think is the dumbest thing about this thread. Some people have lives you know. Which brings me to my next point, It is an open disscusion isn't it? There is no such wording in the Forum rules, were you have to wiat your turn to post somthing. If there is, then I'm proven wrong, but the way I see it, its just a "boy scout honor" thing.
If he though for a second what he was posting before he said it, there is not just one person in glock's boat, and I'm sure there are other people that are in my same position.

Hey Bosco, that is why this thread was started.
Thats not the point, you made him a post that he did not want. To be honest, it sounds like socialism to me here. So now your going to make a topic for me called, "Bosco's 'guess that plane' thread"? No I don't believe so. If he wanted to make the topic then so be it, but you made somthing that he did not want, and its certainly not what I want either. It was alright to say ignor him in the other topic, but to make a Topic just for him, thats just outlandish, and realy dumb. It just gives people excuse to make fun of this guy more than they should.
Oh and guys, He's just a dam kid havn't you guys relized that yet? He's gonna argue with everything you say negitive about him. Why I know? because I was the same way.

So very true.
I'm guessing that his in-game ID is xXxSm0k3w33d4lyfexXx.
Also, in one of my random searches of Youtube, I found a video of him, singing his most annoying song ever.

And then he changed time periods and started annoying us back in the 70's-80's EVERY April Fool's Day.

Honestly, I don't see glock as that bad of a person, I was never annoyed by him except by his smiley in every post, and that didn't really bother me either. Just seems like you're looking for someone to rant on. He hasn't broken any rule that I can think of either. Send a link maybe?

Glock, in all honesty, I can tell you what makes people mad, and I'm saying this with an objective to help.

You really gotta stop posting very short 3 or 4 word posts that don't contribute to the thread at all.  It's all good and dandy when the person is asking something that requires a one word answer with a smiley, but honestly, when it happens every thread, it's realllly obnoxious.

For example, in this thread:
http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/index.php/topic,248978.0.html

Your post is useless, it doesn't contribute anything!  It literally just takes up space and makes you a troll.  Only post if you actually have something to contribute, don't hijack threads, and treat people with maturity and respect and everything will be just fine!

Listen to what people are saying as well, it will really help you get along in the forum and make friends.

Please remember, I'm not being a dick, just trying to help you get along in the forum.

When you are in a queue, there's no rule, no article of law in any juridical system in the world that say you must wait for your turn. Nonetheless, you wait and you do not step forward, taking another guy's place. Why? Because there's an unwritten rule, something upon which people have agreed that forces you to respect the queue. In that thread, the majority of the participants have agreed on using a certain order in posting the planes. If you don't agree, you can do what you want, but you have to expect a reaction from the majority that set the unwritten rule, just as it would be if you tried to bypass someone in the queue.

He hasn't broken any rule that I can think of either. Send a link maybe?

Since you asked, just by a quick glance at the forum rules, posted in top of any threads lists of this BBS:

2- Threads should remain on topic, do not "hijack" topics. (arguable, maybe, but a great deal of his posts could go into this category)

10- Spam is not tolerated here under any circumstance.

14- Members should post in a way which is consistent with "normal writing". That is users should not post excessive numbers of emoticons, large, small or coloured text, etc. Similarly users should not SHOUT or use excessive punctuation (e.g. ! and ?) in topic titles or posts.

You should even make posts that are relevant to the thread topic not to break rules #2 and 10 (irrelevant posts may be considered spam) and learn to spell correctly to fully respect rule #14. Don't you guys find irritating and offensive that a foreigner like me can spell better than, at least, 80 % of the people of you mother tongue guys?

Four pages and you still haven't posted a picture. The thread was started so you could post all the pictures you want to, so post away.
But there a thread just like this what the point.

So wait isn't that what I said in my post? All you did was re-word my post to make it something negitive in my direction. If its just a "Unwritten law", then why should I have to abide by it? If I don't like it, I can choose to nullify that, just because I don't like it. Simple. I understand the fact that there should be an honor type thing, becuase I try and follow many in the MAs, and obviously, not everyone follows my same way of fighting. Its the same thing with these two topics here, you have one side, and you have the other. I didn't choose the other, just because I didn't even know that we were doing that. Just a question, is anywere in that topic, have anything to do with honor codes or anything like that, up till Milo's post and new topic? From what I saw, which I saw most of those pages on the topic, no there isn't anywere were we should "wait our turn" thing.

You didn't get the point. The point is:

If you don't agree, you can do what you want, but you have to expect a reaction from the majority that set the unwritten rule, just as it would be if you tried to bypass someone in the queue.

I'll avoid making a lesson of law out of it, but you should understand that unwritten rules can be as binding as written ones: it's something called consuetudinary law.

I had no intention to be strict, because again, I'm not following the system. The only reason why I had to stick up for myself was because this stupid thread was put up, I didn't think that it would turn out this way. It was just soley in my defense, and more not his. I do get the point however, that there is gonna be some critisizm, involved in this, and when I read you last post before this, it was 5:30AM, so I just skimmed the basics. If I read it, I might have not said it.
We just have some ignorant people here, who forgot about the all the people he might step on, making this post. Again, I would not have said anything, but because I had to go defense, we come to were we are now.

I like glock posting in my thread, can't fault his enthusiasm - and there is no reason to be rude to him because of it.

Hooray for Glock! (just please be a bit more patient ;))

Since when are you so mellow Furbie?!?

Sorry, I think glock has dug himself in deep. Im the first person to stand up and say "Hey, lets be nice about it, let him know he is crossing some boundaries, and try to help him learn better ways to go about this", but he has refused any support and his language is getting out of hand.
