How about putting the icons beneath the plane? Above the plane (as they are now) provides a nice aiming point during a high g turn.

How about the option to remove the country symbol in the <alt I> toggle?

Virage, as for #1, it's a bit wrong. IF you need to make a deflection shot like that, you will have to aim far infront of the plane, when the enemy plane it self disapires under the nose of your plane, the icon disapires.

#1.  the g10 gunsight has a black band at the bottom that fubars the "icon disappearing when out of view" feature.  I did not check other cockpits out.

#2.  less is more with icons imo.  Offering more toggle options will suit everyones preferences.

while im at it...

#3.  I don't know how many levels of detail htc uses to differentiate the range of an ac but the "black dot" covers too broad a range imo.  Either don't represent the 'very far' dots or shrink/diffuse the current black dot for those planes at the limits of visibility.
